Dhow Trips

Dhow Trips

A dhow is a traditional Arab vessel that was introduced around this coastline as early as the 11th century. Muslim and Persian traders were the first outsiders to arrive to the area by sea and traded pearls and ambergris. The dhow boats are used by the locals for fishing purposes and, of course, to explore the tranquil waters beneath. Setting off early in the morning, you will be whisked away to any of the beautiful islands , with pointed tips jutting out from the water and rugged sails pulled taut in the breeze, the sense of the amazing history in this place overwhelms. Discover the seabed at your leisure off the side of your dhow and experience the ocean as never before.
